James Coughlin

James “Jimmy” Coughlin is the founder and Broker-in-Charge of Rock Realty Advisors LLC, a Charlotte-based real estate firm built on trust, expertise, and long-term relationships. With more than two decades of experience in real estate, engineering, and leadership, Jimmy has established himself as a respected advisor for clients seeking both residential and investment opportunities across the Carolinas.
Before founding Rock Realty Advisors in 2017, Jimmy worked as a broker with Giving Tree Realty and served as Managing Partner at JGL Forensic Services, where he oversaw property analysis and construction consulting. His background in civil and mechanical engineering, combined with years of hands-on real estate experience, allows him to approach every transaction with both analytical precision and genuine care for his clients’ goals.
A former Staff Sergeant in the Army National Guard, Jimmy’s leadership style is rooted in integrity, discipline, and service. He brings that same commitment to every client relationship—offering honest advice, clear communication, and results that stand the test of time.
